Very calming, beautiful park. Has long trails. Haven’t been to all of them. Very good sunset view. Parks for kids, restrooms available.

Great park with awesome trails. 😍the lake is great for canoeing and watching the wildlife is always a treat 💛 We bike here often as a family and find myself along with my friends choosing this park for walks and biking most of the time. Also great parks for the spending a relaxed time during the weekends. They even have very good amenities. We did have a birthday party in one of the picnic spots a year ago and it was a blast 💛🌸✨lots of options for kids to play around during the birthday party. 🥳

Beautiful park right on the lake! The new splash pad is clean and nicely built, and we love that there's a locked gate around the whole area so little ones can't get out themselves! There are a few picnic tables in the shade by the splash pad, and a nice turf area to put down blankets and towels. I will say that the splash pad would probably be best enjoyed by kids 5 years and younger. My kids (8 and 6) were easily the oldest there, and they did still have fun, but were mostly surrounded by toddlers. There are also several benches and picnic tables around the 2 playgrounds. The bigger playground is great for older kids! There are trails that lead right down to the lake and lots of great areas for scenic pictures. My kids enjoyed walking along the trail and feeding the ducks at the waters edge! I definitely recommend bringing sunscreen or a hat as a majority of the park and trails are not shaded!

Brushy Creek Park is such a beautiful oasis in Cedar Park for families and people of all ages and also your beloved pet dogs. This park offers something for everyone. The open grassy fields and the wild flowers during spring are great to breathe and enjoy the outdoors. The ducks are so cute and might sometimes come so close to you, but they don't bother you at all. The seating areas infront of the lake is a peaceful escape to just spend a quiet romantic evening with your better half watching the sunset or looking at the moon and stars in the evening. The park has a number of trails for walking and hiking while enjoying nature for those seeking exercise. Bikers including mountain bikers will love the variety in the trails. Brushy Creek regional trail is approximately 7.75 miles. Another plus side is that the park has ample parking space and we haven’t had a problem looking for a parking spot even in heavily crowded weekends during summer. Parking is free. There is also an ice cream truck near the play area on Saturdays during summer.

The lake path is full sun, but towards the back where all the play items are such as playgrounds, bocce ball, splash pad, etc. is pretty shady. From the parking lot, if you go right, you’re going to head under the highway, making it a very noisy pathway. Going left is much more serene. if you are a people person, you will find the people very grumpy here. Sadly. I want to call it the grumpy trail.
