Very calming, beautiful park. Has long trails. Haven’t been to all of them. Very good sunset view. Parks for kids, restrooms available.
Read more about Brushy Creek Lake ParkThis is one of my favorite off leash dog parks. My dog loves running freely and jumping into the water. She's had plenty of positive interactions with other dogs. It's not a long hike but you can do a couple rounds if you'd like a longer walk. The only downfall is parking. It can be pretty difficult to find parking and sometimes there's already a line waiting to park which is why I gave it a four ⭐.
Read more about Red Bud IsleOur time at Mutts Canine Cantina was great but our dog’s was even better. We always look for opportunities in the Austin area to socialize our dog and have fun as owners and Mutts presents the best combination of the two we’ve seen so far. Parking at Mutts was pretty smooth but it does look like it could be difficult on days or times where many owners decide to stop by. When entering there are a lot of security precautions in place ensuring that it would be VERY difficult for dogs to escape which is much appreciated. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn’t want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn’t like peanut butter then you’re out of luck. There’s a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you’re into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don’t explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!
Read more about MUTTS Canine Cantina® - AustinI’m giving a 1 star because we did not find this park to be safe. The gate to the culvert was open and our dog and another almost went into the storm drain. Luckily I was close by to stop them. Why on earth would they make this space into a dog park? The wall is so dangerous and the grass is not maintained.
