Really enjoyed my visit to Buddy Holly Park! It's a fantastic spot for a family outing. The lake adds a beautiful and relaxing element to the park. It's a great place to take a walk, enjoy the scenery, r. Highly recommend it for anyone in the Lubbock area looking for a nice outdoor space!

Nice area in town to go for a walk a enjoy some nature. Being mid December, all the vegetation is dormant and brown, not not the most scenic, but still a nice area. The trail is paved, but the concrete is broken and cracked in some areas, so someone riding will want mountain bike or fat bike tires on this one. There was also a nice outdoor fitness center with some useful looking machines if you want to work in some strength training exercises while you are here.

I absolutely love this park. I often go to take a walk around the lake. Most everyone you walk past is friendly. There is a bunch of wildlife around this park, but none have been vicious. People often go running, fishing, and even visit the coffee shop, which sits in the middle of the park called Hebrews. Great park to walk around to get a breath of fresh air. Fair warning, the water is pretty murky, but what standing lake what is not?

I remember going to this area when I was little. We always had so much fun. My children and I revisited it when we went fishing here the other day. We only caught a small perch, though we had lots of fun fishing. You feel like you are not in Lubbock anymore. It is a great place to go and enjoy family and nature.

Spectacular place for a walk or run alone or with family. It's very clean, has a beautiful view, and is a peaceful spot with some exercise equipment available. Everything is free, and there's a café offering drinks and snacks, as well as free parking. I highly recommend it!
