My daughter and I had a great time there with our dog today. The place was very clean, and our dog had an amazing time playing. By the time we left, he was completely worn out and slept the entire 40-minute drive home! We will definitely be back again!

Very nice park. Lots of room for dogs to run and play. Two suggestions: First; fix both water fountains. When there dogs had no water access and regulars said it’s been over a month since they have worked. This is unsafe. Second; add shade pavilions over all of the benches. Temps will be too high soon to sit in the sun.

Such a fun and surprisingly charming stop! Prairie Dog Town is one of those simple, unexpected experiences that ends up being a highlight of the day. Watching the prairie dogs pop in and out of their burrows, stand up on their hind legs, and interact with each other is endlessly entertaining and honestly so cute. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and just smile for a bit. Perfect for families, kids, visitors to Lubbock, or anyone who loves quirky local attractions. We could have stayed watching them for hours. If you’re in Lubbock, don’t miss this — it’s wholesome, fun, and totally worth the stop!

It's just a field with trees on the edge. There are 2 sets of posts, one for slacklining, one for a hammock, purportedly because it's against municipal law to tie things....to trees. Yeah. Anyway, it's ok, not much to look at (in Dec-Feb), just a lot of dead grass and dogs. Reasonably neat spot for sunsets, but then, so is this region of Texas. There is a cute lending library across the street! It was mostly bibles and fliers when I went but hopefully more attention yields quality!
