Visited June 3, 2023 with friends and it was a lovely park. Something for everyone! Dog lovers and families with young children would especially enjoy the playgrounds and pet areas. Very nice asset for the city of Lubbock.

My dog LOVES the big dog side of the dog park after it rains really good, because she can play in the high mud hole in the middle of it. I like it because I can take her down to the water holes, ponds, when we're finished and clean all the mud off of her. She stays cooled down and has fun, my van stays clean when we're done. WIN WIN. Oh yeah, the other dogs and the owners are always great to be around. The dogs are always very well socialized when we're there.

We went to a graduation in the little event rental building. I would strongly suggest the management go in there and at least paint the walls. Making it more presentable for small events. Maybe install some dimmer switches. I felt like I was in a bingo hall!
