Pleasantly surprised how nice the dog park has been kept in the additional things that other dog parks don't have

This dog park is underutilized for good reasons. It's a long and narrow pathway with fences on both sides that must be transversed from the parking lot. The problem is that leashed dogs coming and going share the same walkway. That would lead to leash anxiety and the potential for dog fights. I was pleased to see that they finally put grass in the area. Large and wide bushes in the large dog area prevent owners from being able to view their dogs when they defecate. The pathway and both small and large dogs have left poop all over the place, despite the fact poop bags are free and readily available. Typically, my dog is the only one in the park so there's no chance for social play and shared play. This dog park should be remodeled to match the popular and well populized La Paws Dog Park in Mission Viejo!
