Caledonia Dog Park, Pond

If your looking for sidewalks ,fences and like to have your dog on a leash this park isn't for you. I love this place and take my dog at least once a week. There's rivers to play in ,ducks to chase, and hills valleys to roam. Walk on wood chips or venture out on trails.

It's a beautiful dog park that has a couple different fields to help train a young bird dog. This unique park has allowed my pup to gain some exposure & experience to the different hunting terrains without the restrictions and needing a dog training permit on state owned/leased training fields.

Caledonia Dog Park is a hidden gem! Semi fenced-in area that includes a stream with scenic beaches and a lot of land. It’s a great walking path for humans and dogs! Terrain is woodchips, cornfields, dirt, and grass. With a swampy pond and streams, my dog is always in need of a bath after our visits – so bring a towel! There’s a turn off graveled parking lot on Highway 38 that leads to the path, but there’s no entrance gate, so best to keep unresponsive dogs leashed until you’re further into the park. I had trouble finding the parking lot with Google Maps, but the coordinates are: 42.781144, -87.869794.

Best dog park I've ever been. Can't really refer to it as a park rather a nature reserve. My Aussie loves swimming in the river alongside it.
