Ive been twice and thats enough for me. I'll be going to mandeville pelican bark park next time. Unfortunately dog owners dont understand that you must clean up after and control your dog. Our 1st visit poop was everywhere, and my dog has a tendency when playing to run through it. On our second visit there was a lady who warned us about a corso that isnt very friendly with other intact corsos/large dogs. I was in the large dog area when suddenly a corso, on small dog side, runs up to fence. My dog goes to greet and the other dog immediately becomes aggressive. After about a minute his owner comes by to tell me his dog doesnt like intact corsos. Not my problem dude!!!! Mine likes everything from little, big, cat, dog, rabbit he doesnt care as long as it wants to play. After 5 minutes of his dog trying to get to mine aggressively, I finally ask him to recall his dog as mine is reacting to a threat. After a few minutes he gets his dog on leash and under control. I left after that. If you know your dog is aggressive dont bring them to a dog park!!! That was it for me pelican bark park here we come...

Large dog park for both little and large dogs. There is a side for each. There's a hose to rinse your pup before you leave and a pool if your dog is a swimmer (though the larger one had a hole in it). And for the large dogs, there's some agility equipment. The seating leaves something to be desired, but at least they have some. My biggest issue was that the grass was getting a little high (it was about neck high for my little guy). It made it difficult for my old fella to move around and made it a little difficult to see him. But we'll be back.

Love it here. There are two parts to this park, one for little guys and one for bigger dogs. Our little one went in with the big dogs and there were no problems. They have two pools, 3 watering stations with bowls (that can be moved at will) and drinking fountain for us. There are plenty of agility objects for them. Benches and tables for us. Shady and sunny spots, grass and sand areas. Plenty of baggy/trash stations. this is the nicest doggie park I've been to. If you felt my review and pictures were helpful to you, please don't forget to click the thumbs up icon. Thank you!

One of our favorite dog parks! :) We’ve been to slidell twice now for work and both times we’ve spent a lot of time playing at this park. The location is great, it’s quiet and there is pretty scenery around. We went mostly earlier in the day so there weren’t too many dogs there. The fenced in area is huge! They have two sides too, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. My dog has never tried any agility courses before but here she jumped right on them and had so much fun! There is a kitty pool next to the water fountain so it’s okay if you forget to bring water! My heart sank on the way out when I saw the dog memorial💔 that is so thoughtful, I’ve never seen one before at a dog park!

One of the best city run dog parks I've been to anywhere. Spacious on both the small and large dog sides. Plenty of shade and seating for dog owners.
