What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This park is absolutely amazing! The oak trees scream history. The grounds are a beautiful way to spend the day walking or riding your bike. Visit the Cafe du Monde for some delicious cafe au lait and beignets; a NOLA staple. A must see if you are a visitor to the city, especially if you are from NYC. It’s way more overwhelming than Central Park.
Read more about New Orleans City ParkAbsolutely beautiful! The trees alone are worth seeing. The one they are sitting under is called the tree of life...there is a golf course in the middle of the park. We didn't go but there is a zoo also. The front of the park is on St. Charles St.u can ride a street car to get to it from Canal St. There are restrooms through out the park. It is alot of walking but well worth it.
Read more about Audubon ParkVery peaceful and spacious park in the Metairie area. I was in the area today for some book drop offs, so I decided to visit Lafreniere Park since the weather felt really nice. There are a lot of hills to go up and down on. Various soccer fields are available. There’s also an outdoor stage for concerts and festivals, cute geese and chickens walking along the trail way, and overall a lot of nature in sight. Overall, a pretty nice park.
Read more about Lafreniere ParkVery spacious park with a large (any suze) and small dog 22 pounds or less side. Drinking fountains available. Recommend to check out the dog rainbow bridge.
