Wisner Dog Run is a solid neighborhood spot for a romp. Medium-sized, usually not crowded, and every pup we’ve met has been friendly—my Lab included. The only downside: it’s all gravel. Not my favorite surface, and the dust gets everywhere. Plan on both you and your dog leaving a little gray around the edges. That said, the vibe is good, the dogs are well-mannered, and we still go pretty often. If gravel doesn’t bother you (or you’re prepared for the dust), I recommend checking it out.

My dogs love this place and it is so nice to burn off some energy. After a rain there are tons of mud puddles so I wish they had some sort of doggie shower/hose. The people that go are always really friendly and have been tolerant of my rambunctious dog. Wish NORD would build more of these in other parts of the city. As you can see one of my dogs really enjoys the mud.

The people were very nice, and the facility is just beautiful… Except… but neither my dog nor I like the gravel.

Large and small mixed together. Water fountains. Plenty of seating. Never seen so many chairs.

My little Lola bug was making friends! Great neighborhood park all around, not too big but plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs. Bonus great basketball courts and a cozy coffee house across the street.
