Incredible. Very picturesque. Very powerful. Its moments like these that give meaning to life. To walk in the steps of giants; absorbing the energy of ancestors who persevered. Truly an honor to have experienced this in person. Its a must visit for anyone who loves their culture and people.

The park is very quite and nice in the morning . Its low traffic llts of space to sit and hang out. Take a walk, run or exercise . I loved smoking a joint In Lousi Armstrong Park. Thank you Sir Armstrong. The park should clean and protect his statue more.

This is a very nice well cared for park. It is home to Congo Square a very sacred section of land. If you can, book a tour for the park. It will help to give you a better understanding of the history.

Oh what a wonderful world A wonderful little world housed just outside of the French quarter of New Orleans. This quiet little haven of peace serves as a public green space, equipped with sculptures, plaques and more honouring the late founder of jazz. Though I would say it’s potential has been let down by its custodians. The park has some quaint little walkways and bridges which personally I enjoyed. This included a wooden bridge over a small beck, within which turtles can be spotted. We pondered on whether the turtles are natural or placed by man. I can’t help feeling like this park isn’t lifted to its full potential, due to the abundance of scaffolding and heras fencing, and the colour of the water. This could be a truly magical place but does feel somewhat uncared for. I understand there has been discussion about whether the adjacent parking lots may be incorporated into the park at some point.

This park leaves a very sad and disappointing impression. The area is poorly maintained and dirty. The ponds contain murky water, and there is a lot of trash floating on the surface, which is especially upsetting to see. Overall, the park feels neglected and uncared for. It is genuinely heartbreaking that a place associated with such a great and legendary musician as Louis Armstrong is in this condition. The park does not reflect the legacy, importance, or respect that his name deserves. Instead of being a place of inspiration and pride, it feels forgotten. A truly disappointing experience.
