We went to see the “Sailing Through The Winter Solstice”. It will be there from Nov.22, 2025-March 14, 2026. It is a free event but they want you to vote on the flotillas by using the QRCodes. There is a Parking garage nearby. You can have strollers, wheelchairs, and dogs! You will have stores, restaurants, and art centers nearby. Frederick, Md. has a lot to offer you. You should see the boats before the dark and after! There are benches along the pathway. It is a unique winter light display!
Insanely beautiful park and area to explore in the heart of downtown Frederick. Tons of things to explore down here and great area to walk or jog. There are wuite a few restaurants right on the creek as well which is super convenient
Carroll Creek Park is one of my favorite places to visit in Frederick, MD. The whispering creek is peaceful and charming. Children and pets enjoy a refreshing dip on hot summer days. Wildlife congregate including fish, ducks, geese and the occasional blue heron. Beautiful by day and majestic by night. Visit at both times of day to fully absorb its beauty and historical heartbeat.
Carroll Creek Park in Frederick is a picturesque urban oasis. Stretching through the heart of downtown, it offers beautifully landscaped walkways, vibrant public art, and serene water features. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll, cycling, or just relaxing by the water. The park also hosts various events and festivals, adding to its lively atmosphere. With nearby restaurants and shops, it's a wonderful spot to enjoy nature and the city's charm.
Great place to stroll, power walk, jog, or just sit and relax. The entire creek walking paths are pet friendly. Very clean and lots of nice landscaping. The water fountains add a nice light mist on hot days. Great restaurants and shopping at downtown area. Entire length of walking path is about five miles from end to end.
