a review from @amom2kidsandapark This is such a popular weekend spot so if you want less of a crowd the key is to go on a weekday morning! This park is so great because not only does it have one awesome playground… it has two (and the second is almost completely gated 💯💯) The park has so much grass with picnic tables and bbqs throughout, a basketball court and tennis courts. The two play areas are near each other with two swing sets plenty of sidewalk for chalking and picnic tables in between. The smaller play area is almost completely gated. There is just one opening entrance without gate. In the play area there is the structure and a big blue rocking ride on car (comfortably fits two). The structure has two slides (a straight and double), steps, ladders, a chain wall, monkey bars, and a mini climbing wall. The larger area has a structure, a balance beam, a spinning disc, and a finger park perfect for race cars or tech decks (are those still a thing?). The structure has two slides (spiral and a double. The spiral is odd. It starts as a sidewinder and then starts looping. 🤨) steps, ladders (including chain ladders), a bridge, monkey rings (two sets, one is hidden under the bridge), a standing swing just barely above the ground (it was pretty fun. I haven’t seen this before), a firefighter pole and a lot of opportunity for rock climbing. Maybe you can tell from the pictures. The weather changed pretty quickly from grey to blue. It’s near 880 and less than 2 miles from the shore so expect varying weather… but isnt that kinda how it always is every where 🤷♀️ There is a parking lot and there are bathrooms
I like the park is so big and that’s one of my favorite parts so that’s why
This was my stomping grounds as a kid. For those of you who don't know, I hail from the Cherry City, San Leandro. My kind of place. Still a wonderful park and a lot of good memories.
Great park for a party! Easy parking! Easy access! Good playground! Has a hoop!
The park is peaceful with children's playthings, tennis court and a trail to jog.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
