It’s called “dog park number 1” for a reason, I was stunned! There are multiple fenced off areas within the park for different energy level dogs. The park was clean and well-maintained. There are benches and a shaded area/gazebo. The dog handlers at this park were of high caliber very respectful, the park was not overcrowded and was pleasantly scenic. I would absolutely recommend!

Overall plenty space for dogs to run and be social, humans get along as well only thing is most people like to water thier dogs while they're panting hard so you may want to be careful with your pups water intake if they're playing hard. If u have a Pit terrier just know people will be stupid but those who know a dog by thier behavior will be glad you brought them so more people will be educated.

This is not the worst dog park I've been to, but I can't think of one that is worse right away. No water but many community bowls. A sign warns of infectious dog disease going around, and no one empties the shared water bowls. No parking but you are directed to nearby public park parking. So your dog is going to want to pee or poop on someone's lawn during the two blocks before you get to the park. You can't keep an eye on your car while you're in the dog park. Too many gates to keep an eye on. When I got there the gates had been left open on the other side. It's a long way to check the gates on the far side. Several places where dogs had pushed under the fence. Fence torn where mowing apperantly caught it.

Very large park with plenty of space for the dogs to run, even with lots of other dogs around. There’s always spare tennis balls lying around. Designated small dog area included. My reasons for only 3 stars: It’s not shady hardly at all. There’s only one shaded picnic table, so summertime is really hot for both me and the dogs. Only a few water bowls around as compared to Longmont dog park #2, which has a convenient running faucet. Parking is either at Carr Park or Garden Acres community park. Both are nearby, but I prefer to have the parking lot right next to the park and not have a walk, even a short one.

Took my new puppy there. He was timid at first, but then ended up enjoying himself. Quite a lot of dogs there but so much space. Friendly people who were careful if their dog tends to be aggressive.
