What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Rough and Ready Park is a peaceful, well-kept spot perfect for families and quiet hangouts. The playground is great for kids, there’s plenty of open space, and it has a relaxed, small-town feel. A great place to unwind or enjoy a casual afternoon outdoors.
Read more about Rough & Ready ParkMy pup loves this park! It’s big, easily accessible, and has a separate section we can take him to play ball in the back if he’s really wanting to run. Every person I’ve encountered here has been friendly, too. There are trash cans near the front gate to dispose poop bags in, and I believe they do have poop bags available (we bring our own so I’m not positive). It gets pretty muddy when the snow starts to melt so may be a good idea to pack a towel!
Read more about City of Longmont Dog Park #2The dog park itself is decent. Don’t love the pea gravel as others have mentioned. However, it is very large and great for my fetch lover to get plenty of back and forth. It’s probably 50 yards long. Two picnic tables available and some shade from adjacent trees. No dog size regulations that I can see.
Read more about Blue Skies ParkIt’s called “dog park number 1” for a reason, I was stunned! There are multiple fenced off areas within the park for different energy level dogs. The park was clean and well-maintained. There are benches and a shaded area/gazebo. The dog handlers at this park were of high caliber very respectful, the park was not overcrowded and was pleasantly scenic. I would absolutely recommend!
