What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
My daughter & her friend visited this park about a year ago. The kids & adults had a blast playing on the equipment. They had a huge silo with a slide. The slide was very fast and wide enough that adults can use it too. The big zip line was great. There’s a lot of open green grass for free play with footballs or soccer balls.
Read more about Twin Silo ParkNice little park for kids. While the playground is considerably smaller than Inspiration Park (just a short 15 min walk away), this is a great spot for picnics or letting the kids burn off some energy outdoors. I love how close this is to the foothills
Read more about Spring Canyon ParkAll gravel roads, mostly flat, mostly in the sun. If you park and go left, you'll initially walk next to river and can hear the stream nearby. Very shallow. Many places to walk down to stream. Peaceful. The rest of the trail goes around the pond. Random benches. Quiet. About 3mi of trails.
Read more about Riverbend Ponds Natural AreaNot an experienced hiker like the rest of the contributors. But enjoyed the trail. Lots of rocks and boulders to maneuver around and over. Not sure if it is good for biking as we encountered one guy carrying his bike UP the trail telling us this whike thing was a mistake. He seemed like an experienced biker...had the whole bike jersey on. There are no shaded areas. Plenty of parking and good signage. Great place to escape the Fort Collins drivers.
