Not an experienced hiker like the rest of the contributors. But enjoyed the trail. Lots of rocks and boulders to maneuver around and over. Not sure if it is good for biking as we encountered one guy carrying his bike UP the trail telling us this whike thing was a mistake. He seemed like an experienced biker...had the whole bike jersey on. There are no shaded areas. Plenty of parking and good signage. Great place to escape the Fort Collins drivers.

Wide open trail! Not crowded at all, the parking had maybe 5 cars in it midday on a Sunday. It's a great walking hike for dogs, biking anything really! There was a bridge about 25-30 minutes in for my dog to cool off, otherwise it's a hot walk! But I'm so glad I discovered this place!

It's a great local natural area for hiking. It is exposed and quite rocky in places. There are plenty of trails and hills. I used it for training hikes because it is so close. I got early on weekdays, so it is never crowded.

Absolutely breathtaking and free!! You may have to pay for parking in some spots but it’s good for a long time. Dog friendly, family friendly, very clean and moderated by rangers 👍🏾 please follow speed limits as this is a high cycling area. Take your time and help everyone enjoy the views and get home safely.

This was an amazing hike for a day off. We loved the views on the trail up as well as the different bouldering opportunities at the top to tackle. Perfect reading areas also to rest at once you get to the summit, but it’s a lovely hike fitting for travelers of all kinds. Some were running, biking, and hiking the various paths in this area; you’re sure to enjoy nature no matter how you go about it.
