Thurston County off-leash dog park is directly adjacent to the closed loop park and although we see lots of people in the dog park, I have never seen anyone in the closed loop park.

Very nice place for a relaxing walk, or reading a book.

NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!! To those who said this park is dog friendly, NOT TRUE. It comes up on Google as "Dog Friendly."

When my daughter told me she was taking me to this fabulous garden near the dump I was skeptical. Wow, she was right! This garden is worth the trip! It's quiet, well groomed and gorgeous! The main loop is paved with some benches, but if you'd like up close and personal you'll need to walk on the grassy areas. So, not suitable for wheelchairs or wheeled walkers, etc. There's plenty of parking with some handicapped spaces. If you love gardens and plants it's well worth the visit.

Loved the park, it was great to walk around with our kids and check out all the different plants. Some of the displays are worn down I hope that it gets some needed maintenance in the spring. It also could do with some better signage to get to the park as it can be confusing with the traffic in/outof the landfill.
