Been coming out for several years for quick trips with the kids, dogs, even my grandmother at one point. Quick and easy loop around the lake, lots of places to sit and enjoy the time! We love packing a lunch, watching the birds or walking the lake before enjoying the park for the kids. Never super crowded either which is great.

Cogshall Park is a true hidden gem — a tranquil haven imbued with an air of serenity that soothes the spirit. The grounds are immaculately maintained, with pristine paths, verdant lawns, and an enchanting lake that mirrors the sky in quiet repose. One cannot help but be struck by the pervasive sense of calm, making it an ideal retreat for contemplation, a leisurely stroll, or simply to bask in the gentle embrace of nature. A clean, peaceful, and altogether delightful sanctuary.

This has always been, and will forever be, one of my lifeling favorite places. I felt absolutely blessed to live in the same city as this beautiful gem of a park. I spent my childhood there. In my teens, I played in the high school band at events there. As an adult, I brought my nephews to play, and ultimately had our wedding and reception there. Literally a dream come true! Some people love Disneyland, I love Coggshall.

Nice park, accessible during winter but not cleaned enough for people to walk there

Great park with cool scenery. Has a playground for the kids too!! Went here for a baby shower. (They have a small building you can rent out.)
