Read more about Carter ParkReally love going for walks on the trail. It has the most beautiful views with snow.
Read more about Doyle Community Park and CenterBeen coming out for several years for quick trips with the kids, dogs, even my grandmother at one point. Quick and easy loop around the lake, lots of places to sit and enjoy the time! We love packing a lunch, watching the birds or walking the lake before enjoying the park for the kids. Never super crowded either which is great.
Read more about Coggshall ParkA nice public park that dogs can run around in. A huge pro was that they have doggie bags easily available and I didn’t see poop everywhere. So the regulars are good about cleaning up. Instead, There were balls EVERYWHERE. So if your dog chews on tennis balls you might want to pick a different park. If your dog is ball obsessed like mine, it’s a great place to be! The proximity to the tracks can make for a loud noise. So if you have a dog that scares easily try to go when the train isn’t likely to be roaring by. The conductors are liberal with the horn.
