Just recently moved to the area, and luckily this park is only about a mile away. Walking to the park, around both loops, and back to the house is about 3.5 miles. We had a place by our old house where we would go and walk, so I am glad this is such a close and easy walk. The people there, every time we have visited so far, have been nice and stay out of the way. There is a gazebo you can relax under and a park for the kids!

I wish it was more.... Nature.. Nature is slowly being taken away from us and it's sad, we need to connect with nature! This park is ok. I guess, just need more.. natural nature to it. Or a more diversity of plant and animal life. Not just .. 5 trees and a path to walk. But it's good for walking my dog. So I guess it will do. I very much prefer the metro willo parks honestly

Short trail along the Ecorse River. Unfortunately, there is work going on along the river, but it's all being done to make the park much nicer in the future. There is a large gazebo there that can be rented for parties. It's a memorial park also. You will see markers and other things people have left in memory of a loved one. Bird watchers would enjoy a day here. There's plenty of parking, so head on out to the park.

I go there just about all the time to do my walking if the weather is permitted. I love coming to this park. It's clean, you see people out walking there dogs, sometimes other people might Rollerblade on skates, people come to also ride there bicycles to! and there is a little play area for kids! Nice park!
