What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
We recently visited the dog park for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! We spent our time in the small dog area, which was perfect for our little pup. The park seemed well-maintained and provides a safe and welcoming environment for dogs to socialize and play. One of the highlights was the thoughtful layout of the park. There are plenty of benches in shady areas, which made it comfortable for us to sit and relax while watching our dog interact with others. It’s a great spot for both dogs and their owners to socialize and enjoy some fresh air.
Read more about Home Run Dog ParkWent with my neighbors cousin who lives in Lincoln Park for one of their "Concerts in the Park". Playing was a Stevie Nicks impersonator, don't remember the name of the band, so that says it all! Anyway, It's a very nice park and I think it's great that they put on free concerts throughout the summer for the locals! Looking forward to going to a few next year.
Read more about Memorial ParkJust recently moved to the area, and luckily this park is only about a mile away. Walking to the park, around both loops, and back to the house is about 3.5 miles. We had a place by our old house where we would go and walk, so I am glad this is such a close and easy walk. The people there, every time we have visited so far, have been nice and stay out of the way. There is a gazebo you can relax under and a park for the kids!
Read more about Council Point ParkNice setup with the playground and the swings, just I tripped on the weed barrier used under wood chips. ACTUALLY THAT WAS THE PROBLEM EVERYWHERE IN THE PARK.
