What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
I love walking in this park. There are trails everywhere with lots of wildlife and plants. You don't have to walk or bike ride just one area. We took the Sycamore Creek River trail. It dumps out at Mt Hope Cemetery.
Read more about Scott Woods ParkBeautiful lake with a 1.5-mile paved trail around it leading to other wooded trails. Includes several large docks good for fishing, a grassy beach with a large sandy area for kids, a splash park, a large playground, paddleboats, a volleyball court, a concession area, several picnic areas with grills and a pavillion.
Read more about Hawk Island ParkThe entrance has a parking spot for 3 to 4 vehicles. It does not have a map legend. Though the trail is very short a legend that shows where the trails go and how they connect to roads/the neighborhood would be nice. The woods have also been trampled through it looked like. It has a playground and at least two pond overlooks which are nice but it is just average when compared to other better managed parks.
Read more about Bancroft Park (North Trailhead)Awesome snow tubing set up! Hill was a lot of fun. Very reasonable prices. We will defiently go back.
