Soldan Dog Park

Awesome snow tubing set up! Hill was a lot of fun. Very reasonable prices. We will defiently go back.

Our favorite dog park! It’s about a 1/2 mile walk to the back of the park so it’s really nice to be able to walk with your dog off leash. The dogs here are always friendly. You do have to register your dog for this park and get a key fob, which requires your dog to be licensed through Ingham county. It’s a good way to know all the dogs are up to date on vaccinations though.

Best dog park we've found, in part because there are logistics and fees for access (need to submit license to county and pay fee for key fob). This means you get people dedicated to responsible ownership and a really good community. Lots of good trails, beaches, hangout areas, and a giant body of water to play in.

The best dog park ever! A large wooded trail leading to a small lake with two sandy beaches and a dock. Includes a covered sitting area for pet parents and water for the dogs. Also provided is a rinseoff area for dogs outside the park. And of course poop bags and waste cans throughout the park as well as benches.

First and foremost, they actually have handicap parking near the dog park otherwise you have to walk quite a distance. But fortunately I only had to walk a small distance to find out that it is a members only dog park with a electronic tag on the gate. I should have known when I pulled in to the park and noticed that there is normally a parking fee to get into the park, and then when you get to the dog park there is a nice little sign that tells you where you can go get the dog park membership at? Which doesn't do you much good if you're already at the gate, maybe it would have been too hard for them to just have a little electronic card reader, kind of like at the car washes, where you could just slide your credit card and go on in? It does look like a nice dog park but it's real hard to tell from outside the gate. I also should have realized that when three or four people went by me without offering to let me into the park or even saying hi, especially the one wearing the T-shirt that was tie-dyed hearts? So anyway, if you go by a pass before you get here, you can save yourself a drive. But young lady and I are just going to move on down the road
