I/2 mile paved then unpaved trails. Some wide , some narrow. Lots of snakes. Cell service is very poor so a Locator Beacon if you have one. Take lots of water. No benches.

We just moved here and came to explore our closes park and it truly didn't disappoint. It has a playground, big open spaces and TRAILS and pretty long ones too. We had to turn around to make it back to the car cuz the trail clearly had plans to end up somewhere else. We definitely coming back with more time so we can finish it and see where it goes

The walking trail is well maintained. You can end up at Lake Forest Park - which is about a 20 minute walk one-way.

Large park of prairie, woods, trail, creek. There's a north park and a south park. Fletcher trail connects to dog park and Lake Forest Park. Likely location of the Alton settlement that was abandoned. There was a pottery in this vicinity in the early days of Denton County.
