Our dog loves this hike. It's off leash once you get on the trail. The view is beautiful of both Salt Lake and Utah counties. Fall is starting to show her colors.

“This hike is amazing! Gorgeous scenery and the best part — dogs can run free off leash!”

Definitely one of my favorite hikes around Draper, right there around Suncrest! Perfect spot for an around 1.5hours easy hike. It also offers stunning views during sunset hour!

It's a great hike. From the parking to the summit and back is about 2.9 miles. Super windy at the top. Was nice, the snow has been compacted a bit and is icy and slippery in some spots. The final 1/4 mile or so to the summit is on private property. It's also super windy. Just a reminder to clean up after your dog if it joins you on the hike.

We loved this park! So much open space for dogs to be off leash. Lots of different hiking/walking trails to choose from, too. One of the trails had lots of snow and was too deep (see video) but lots of trails were decently packed down. I do recommend microspikes. I wish they had more trash cans throughout the area so you didn’t need to carry the poop with you while walking.
