I was in town for the Alabama Community Theatre Festival, and I decided to check out this park for my morning walk. I'm so glad that I did! Everything here is beautiful, and even the water tower has been given thoughtful attention to make it an architectural wonder instead of just an eyesore.

Wonderful place if you have littles. The splash pad is nice and big. Wish it the splash pad had more things that made it fun like animals and such. The playground is wonderful. Great place to bring your family. Also has a large field you can have picnics and throw a ball around. They do have a restroom as well thats well kept but I wish it was a little closer to the playground and splash pad. The walking path around playground has beautiful artwork to look at

This was an absolutely awesome find while out looking for different sites on our trip. I love finding splash pads just to give them my rating. This one was up there. There is also a restroom facility here. The artwork and sculptures were pretty awesome to see. The other art was nice as well. It is well landscaped which we really enjoyed. Residents that live here should be proud.

Delano has tennis courts, basketball courts, flower gardens, a decent playground and splash pad. The best time of the year to visit is late May early June!

Fantastic and well maintained park, the best in Decatur. Amenities include accessible playground, lots of open grassy areas with big trees, splash pad, tennis court, bathrooms, walking paths, garden, and picnic pavilions. The flowers in the garden are blooming currently so it is extra pretty. The park is dog friendly (on leash) and there are a few poop bag stations with trash cans. You can get about 1.5 miles on the walking path if you do all the parts of it. There’s also a nice gazebo near the playground and some art statues. The park has a lot of shade and is usually pretty quiet.
