What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Cute little park we stumbled across during our trip. Really nice and well maintained. Nice spot for city residents to stop and take a relaxing break.
Read more about Frazier ParkThe park looked ok. The other reviews showed a beautiful bridge with water under it, irl that thing looks depressing. I might be country because that "trail" was like an tiny walk. I usually think of trails as being through the woods, but this was just open on the flat park. We left and ventured off on someone's private 4-wheeler trail which was much more exciting.
Read more about Julian Harris ParkI was in town for the Alabama Community Theatre Festival, and I decided to check out this park for my morning walk. I'm so glad that I did! Everything here is beautiful, and even the water tower has been given thoughtful attention to make it an architectural wonder instead of just an eyesore.
Read more about Delano ParkNice park for softball tourney ( not turf). Hitting cages available. There’s a main parking lot and an overflow area. Our admission was $10 per day cash or Venmo. Plenty of bleachers and area for chairs. Didn’t really notice any shade next the fields however there were covered picnic areas with picnic tables and benches which were life savers during the rain storm. We had a torrential rain fall during our tourney. Although they delayed our game until the next day the water that was standing drained pretty fast. The grounds crew worked wonders and fast! Concession had the usual ballpark items and there were a few food trucks near the entrance too. The park is near plenty of restaurants and shops.
