2025.12.28 morning, nice cool 50s_F, light dizzle .. Abby's first visit to this Wolverine Dog Park which was clean and nice. The Parking is ~100+ ft from it.
Clearly can see why people can't have a nice dog park when idiots cannot pick up after their pets. I should not have to clean up after mine and theirs to be able to enjoy it. Also, with all the land these sit on, why are they so small? I feel like since they disrespectfully ripped up the original dog park, they plopped one randomly to shut people up and half-assed it. The dogs deserve better as do good dog owners.
I brought my two dogs to play. One man had six dogs that were very aggressive and he did nothing to intervene and call them off. It was very stressful and frightening for me and my senior dog. Thank goodness we left before being attacked but I’ll NEVER go back.
First time to come by to see the new Wolverine Dog Park while I'm hiking the Decatur Hike-Bike Trailway with Point Mallard Park.
