This is a nice park. Mostly dirt, so it probably gets pretty muddy during rain and winter. Water, trash, bags, toys, and shade. People and dogs were friendly Located next to the Derry ACO "pound"

It’s worth a warning to everybody that this is a place people go to smoke cigarettes together and bring their dogs bring to run unsupervised. Nicotine is is a drug and smoking is an activity. Both of these things take away from the ability and intelligence of those with dogs to manage their dogs and manage their own selves. If they’re making the decision to smoke cigarettes in the first place, at the dog park secondly, and that’s being sanctioned and encouraged by the dog park, this is not a safe place. The volunteers and individuals behind the dog park are likely smokers, so this is not going to change period. If you go when nobody is there or the few that are responsible are there these aren’t issues

I've been going off and on here for a few years as it's the closest around, but honestly, I've had more bad experiences than good come from it. The first dog I brought here was attacked multiple times by different dogs. My current dog, who's just turned a year old, got attacked just today by a dog whose owner wasn't paying attention to it but rather on their phone, and that's my other complaint about this place. A good portion of the owners stand around chatting or on their phones rather than paying attention to their dogs, and some of them at times get into fights because of this. It presents dangerous situations when no one is paying attention. My dog got his face and neck torn open because of the lack of attention from the other dogs owner. The positive things about it is there's lots of water bowls and a water hose and tons of toys and space for the dogs to run, a few benches, lots of bag stations, and poop scoops, it's pretty well kept up with and clean, most people are friendly as are MOST of the dogs. There are two sections as well one for big dogs and one for smaller ones. Just be careful coming here and make sure to pay attention to your dog simply because some people do bring testy or unfriendly/untrained dogs here, and they can get wild and, at times, aggressive. Overall, I probably won't come here anymore due to the fact I've had two different dogs so far be attacked here, and it was 100% preventable. It is unfortunate because I love dogs, but I'm sure I can find a different , safer place to go from now on.

Easy to find and not far from the highway. Love how they have Kitty pools and fresh water for the dogs. Not a huge fan of the smoking area. I personally prefer Bensons over the Derry dog park.

My little jasper absouletly loves this park, there is so much room for him to run and play. There's agility equipment and also a water spout that's on during the summer ☺
