Discovery Park is tucked away in a quiet area. There are two playgrounds, swing sets, volleyball courts, picnic areas and a baseball field. It is the perfect spot to host a party or just bring the family to hang out.

Quiet park with playgrounds for both littles and bigger kids.

Working with Parks management, on bringing this park back to what it should be. This park has been neglected far to long.

Awesome park, my daughter(toddler) loved it. Clean, not busy, didn't see any riff raff either. Highly recommend. There's 2 playgrounds one for the toddler range, and one for the older kids, there is also several picnic areas. We didn't have our dogs, but I did see one couple walking a small dog so I believe it's dog friendly.

A nice park, tucked away in a residential neighborhood. There’s two jungle gyms for the kids (one for littles, one for big kids), two swing sets, some bench seating and covered pagodas. Pros: Climbing equipment is great for the kids, and the playground areas are covered with sand, which I prefer over the wood chips other parks use. There is also a lot of grass, so it’s perfect to let the kiddos run free. Cons: No bathrooms, so make sure your kids go before you head here. Also, after the nearby school gets out in the afternoon, this park sometimes gets taken over by older kids. They tag and carve their names on the play equipment, and play all over the little kids’ side of the playground even when there are little kids present and trying to play. There have been several occasions where I’ve had to tell these kids to be respectful and not shout profanity back and forth with their friends, or play loud music with lots of cursing on speakerphone. I don’t care what they do on their own time, but when little kids are around, that’s just rude. Overall, the park is great, I just tend to avoid it after about 2pm during the school year.
