Zero parks available for off leash dogs except for their muddy crappy dog parks. One of them is literally a giant pond now. Goat heads and fox tails everywhere. Then they mow it down and its all mud and rocks and random holes in the ground from pests. If you want to injure your dog, take them to a draper dog park. Parks and rec law enforcement harrasses people with dogs as well. You could literally be the only one there and they will harass you.

We thoroughly enjoy Draper City trails. The panorama is beautiful. There are over 100 miles of trails to explore. Our grandchildren enjoy looking for animals and indentifying native plants. There are trails for bikes and horses too. Dogs on leash are welcome in many areas, be sure to check your map. Take water, sunscreen and a snack. There is usually a boulder, log or bench to sit on. Some bike stations. Serious hikers are near trails going to Bear Canyon. The trail crew and maintenance crew do a great job helping to keep restrooms clean, trails well-marked and assessable during good weather. Some of the paved trails are cleared after snow storms, weather and time permitting. Enjoy!

For anyone who signed their child(ren) up for the summer camp at Draper Parks and Recreation, be cautious! They do not provide equal opportunities to children with ADHD. Instead of bringing in another employee to handle the already too many kids per teacher, Mark kicks children out.

Draper Parks & Rec has many awesome programs for kids. Mark and the other staff are caring and competent.
