Wonderful active dog park with concrete pedestals and water fountains for your pups to enjoy. Relatively small but well maintained right on the metropolitan Branch trail. There's also a playground just south of it to take your non-furry children to play as well. Plenty of dog friendly dining and beverage establishments nearby too.

I went to the dog park. It was a great size. Had green turf, park bench style seating, and these gray flat boulders. It was very clean and very well kept. The dogs all seemed very well behaved. My only suggestion is to install 2 small dog hours twice a day at different times. This way anyone with a small dog can bring their dog and know they are safe. I have found this to be much more successful than having a small dog park bc it gets everyone together at similar times.
As an Eckington homeowner, the Eckington Dog Park has been an incredible amenity to the community and a way for neighbors all along the MBT to build community with one another.
