Entered with my bike from Minto-Brown Island Park and one trail was blocked due to high water. Persistence paid off as I a managed to find a trail to Brown's island. It was early morning and it felt remote. I saw no one for about an hour which is way different than my time on trails in Minto-Brown. There was loads of wildlife and the bird calls were fantastic. I rode along a dirt path that paralleled the river for long stretches. It would be challenging in the winter, but dry summer conditions were easy to navigate.

This is a wonderful quiet trail most easily accessible from Minto Brown. Someone else mistakingly called this place a "...fenced off landfill." Saying "Oregon is lame." and is regrettably mistaken. They must struggle with directions because the landfill is before you even get to the start of this place. Take the trail around the landfill and you will be greeted with a large gravel intersection which is where this area truthfully begins. Wonderfully shady trails offer pleasant respite so as not to be too hot but it does take a little bit of time to walk through, so if you have any four legged companions with you, be sure to bring some water for them.

Brown's island dump Rd is NOT a public road. I repat Brown's island dump brown Rd. NOT a PUBLIC Road. You have to park at Minto brown #4 parking, than hike to get there. I will update, when I have time to check this out.

Great park with level hike and bike trails. Accessed via Minto Brown park.
