Wasn't sure what this park was about, but once there you can see people using every location and amenities available. Great atmosphere, dog friendly,a place where you can be a human being.....🤙
Read more about Minto Brown ParkWe really enjoyed our visit to the park yesterday. It is beautiful and clean and kept up nicely. It feels very safe walking through as well. There is a large, modern foyt bridge crossing over the river that gives plenty of room for walkers and bicycle riders as well as the many dogs walking through the park. There is a large, cement path that goes throughout the park and beyond that is nicely leveled making it disability friendly too. We were drawn to the park because of the carosel that is also housed in the park. Make note, however, that the first Monday of each month is set aside for speciall needs individuals and has no sound, lights or rings going for the first hour. We were unaware of this and felt disappointed to find this out but didn't have time to hang out another hour to wait. After searching on the website afterwords I was finally able to find this information but I really needed to search for it. Riding the beautiful carosel just wasn't the same fir me but I do appreciate that they offer that time for those who need it.
Read more about Riverfront City ParkThis is a pretty nice park to walk and sit. It has a good mixture of open filed and wooded area so you can choose to sit in the sun or the shade. It's a good size and in a quiet neighborhood so you can find a spot to relax and forget you're in a city?
Read more about Bush's Pasture ParkIt was very beautiful except the path I chose. The marsh comes pretty much up to the path and spilt over onto the pathway. I was dumb enough to go through, but could have chosen another path and gone around. Lots of paved trails to walk. Very easy stroll
