Beautiful park with Giant Sequoias and a pond. Extra-large off leash dog area is not fenced so only well behaved dogs are present.
Read more about Laurelhurst Off-Leash Dog AreaTHIS IS WHERE THE DOGS GO!!! If the main field is empty, that is not license for your dog to go off-leash. Because, I bet this area - which the City of Portland has designated especially for YOU - is empty. USE IT.
Read more about Sewallcrest Off-Leash Dog AreaThe best park I've ever gone to by far. I've been going here since I was 5 years old, and nearly 20 years later, traveling all over the place, I can confidently say this. From the beautiful view at the top, to the ethereal trees all over the place, you will never get bored here. I forget I'm even in a city when I'm on the trails. It's a super family friendly place. A few years ago there was a lovely area for free concerts in july, but unfortunately some damage has hurt the park in that reguards. I feel like everyone should experience this special place at least once in their lives. Support the park! Let's give Mount Tabor the love it deserves!
Read more about Mt. Tabor ParkGreat park with a beautiful pond in the center and large lawn square for dog walking. The trees are tall so you will mostly walk in the shade but you can also lay down on the grass to get tanged. It took a about 30 mins to walk account the park and bus stop #75 is right outside the entrance.
