Hands down best dog park in West Portland, but is in DESEPRATE need of some new wood chips, a poop bag station, and some kind of signage or system to hold people accountable to pick up after their dogs. Too many disgustingly careless & inconsiderate dog owners in Portland. We can do way better folks. Let's see some accountability. Now... who's gonna help me get some new wood chips laid out here? If Parks & Rec. Services won't do it, I will.

Love the people and dogs. Its a good dog park. Do not like the muddy multch. Hurts my dogs feet. Makes balls gross. Shoes... I understand it's better than mud, and grass may not hold up.

Visiting from out of town. Brought my dog who is friendly / does his own thing so wasn’t an issue. I was shocked by other pet owners behavior. There was a group of dogs chasing an obviously scared dog, tackling it to the ground and barking / biting it. The owners all just stood there, as if numb to their surroundings, watching. The owner of the dog being attacked said “you can run”, while their dog was being attacked. It was wild. I had to leave. It was like I was in the twilight zone! I couldn’t believe no one was doing anything about it but watching (for minutes). It really shook me. I will never be returning.

Reasonably large fenced dog run for large/medium sized dogs. Gets muddy and gross when it rains, so it's not great for year-round use.

Great clean place to relax, have a picnic, take your kids to play, play basketball (which is rare at some parks in Portland), read, and bird watch especially during September. You can get a great walk or run here as well. Very good energy here.
