I was expecting some mud, but not all the dogs! This was my first time here, and I really enjoyed it! The mud on the north loop was plentiful, but I survived it five times. I only skipped down to my hands and knees once. I wasn't expecting so many dogs, especially so many unleashed. They were all very friendly, and wanted to join me while I was running. If you've never been here, just be ready, the ratio of dogs to people is close to 2 to 1.

Nice nature walk but lots and lots of dogs. I LOVE dogs but I don't need them running up on me every 3 minutes, not the park's fault, of course... People also need to take their dog poop with them, and no... Picking poop up with a bag and tossing the bag on the ground isn't "cleaning up"... There's a special place in hell for people who do that.

Oh my god ! Finally found a great place. Love that some areas are off leash and dogs can swim here and it’s absolutely stunning. Plenty of parking. I would say that if your dog is reactive or they don’t like other dogs to not bring them here. People have their dogs off leash even in places where they’re not suppose to be. And they will run up to your dog and most people don’t have control over their pets here.

My favorite off leash spot to bring my doggy! Beautiful and so much space, plus swimming for your dog. The other dogs we have encountered have generally been great. You will probably get muddy but it’s totally worth it!

Great for dogs who want to feel a little freedom. Be mindful of puddles in the spring and foxtail, too. There are places to offload your poop bags and get more if needed. For the most part, people are responsible and clean up. It’s a great place to enjoy nature, dogs, and dog people. Area of improvement: I wish the trails were better marked because I definitely got lost. 😬
