Very nice park well maintained Park district does a fine job. I grew up down the road as a child to my teenage years with family and Friends very much enjoyed the duck pond feed the ducks, geese and catching a mess of catfish. I uploaded a childhood photo there at the duck pond my father Rodney H me Luke C. Doing some father and son fishing.

I love this park! I've been coming here since the mid 90's, just driving through has a calming effect. I used to fish the little pond and I ways catch and release, it was fun but then they made it just for kids. I still took mine but I stopped fishing there. From there we moved down to the river by the old dam, they tore that out so I moved to the lake.

Dog park looks great, but its members only. You have to purchase a membership at the DISC ($57 per year as of 2026) and receive a ticket to enter. Very disappointed. Since when are dog parks all “Members Only?”

Lovely park. Lot's of hiking, biking and more can be done here. Beautiful pond in the middle of this park. Lot's of Pavilions to use. Use to have a public pool but with the new water park in town the park district decided to close and tare down this pool which is a shame. It may of needed some work but I felt this pool would have been used and used a lot.
