This park is beautiful and pristine - the best in the metro area (or at least that I know of). I love the walking trail and the pavilions and seating throughout. The trail feels secluded enough to connect with nature or clear your mind, but not so secluded that it feels unsafe. There are a couple of great spots to take photos like the deck overlooking the pond or the outdoor classroom. I did see a group taking family photos and someone else taking what looked like to be quinceanera photos. Pavilions look good and the bathroom was probably the cleanest park bathroom I’ve ever seen.

A very nice nature park in Flowood! Didn't even know this gem was here. I really enjoyed my walk and just taking in mother nature with the ducks and turtles. The trail is also a nice size for walking. Enough trees too to keep the sun from beaming on you. Great for outdoor events as well. Seating and BBQ grills around from what I saw. Not sure of rules for any of that. But overall, will definitely return.

This is a fairly good sized & paved walking area in this park. Nature information boards around the park as you walk. A small boardwalk in the wetlands. A great space for walking.

Such a beautiful place for both adults and children! And it happens to be mobility scooter friendly for me. So many animals there: - Birds: Muscovy Ducks, Mallard Ducks, Canada Geese, Northern Mockingbirds & American Robins - Eastern Gray Squirrels - Bugs: Different Butterflies, Moths, Dragonflies & More - Red-Eared Slider Turtles (who are very, very shy) All and all, I recommend for nature-filled walks solo or with friends and/or family. And the fact that it is scooter & wheelchair friendly just makes it an even better place for everyone.

The park is very pretty and clean. Plenty of parking. We saw lots of walkers, some with dogs. I was so proud of my dog for not barking a single time! 😅 There are picnic tables and grassy spaces for playing in addition to the walking trail and pavilions.
