What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
My son and I went to practice some basketball/football drills. Secluded and quiet.
Read more about Belhaven ParkThis park is beautiful and pristine - the best in the metro area (or at least that I know of). I love the walking trail and the pavilions and seating throughout. The trail feels secluded enough to connect with nature or clear your mind, but not so secluded that it feels unsafe. There are a couple of great spots to take photos like the deck overlooking the pond or the outdoor classroom. I did see a group taking family photos and someone else taking what looked like to be quinceanera photos. Pavilions look good and the bathroom was probably the cleanest park bathroom I’ve ever seen.
Read more about Flowood Nature ParkVery nice park along the reservoir with picnic pavilions, dog park and access to walking and biking path. Dog friendly.
Read more about Old Trace ParkWhat a beautiful and clean park. There is something for everyone and a gorgeous view of the reservoir. There is a playground, covered and uncovered picnic tables and grills.
