Very nice park along the reservoir with picnic pavilions, dog park and access to walking and biking path. Dog friendly.

Old Trace Park is one of the best outdoor spots in the area. Whether you're there to grill, walk the lakeside trail, or just relax under one of the gazebos, there's something for everyone. The disc golf course is a fun bonus, and the dog park makes it super convenient for pet owners. It’s also a great place for photography, especially around sunset, and there’s usually just enough breeze to fly a kite. The view over the reservoir is always peaceful. Definitely a go-to park for a relaxing day outside.

This was a nice park. We've been coming here for a decade. But now you have to pay to get in. You pay taxes for the park and then have to pay again to use it. This is garbage.

I saw various reviews about an entrance fee. Most say it only applies to summer weekends. We went in January and there was a lift gate that required a $5 entrance fee before getting through. I just left that parking area, went to the driveway right next door, and there was a huge parking lot right on the water without any fees. The park itself was lots of fun. Great place for walking, hanging out by the water, and the disc golf course looks cool.
