This place is bigger than you'd think. There are nice views to be had along the river, and it connects with the paved river trail. Definitely nice if you prefer paved hiking options, but there are some nice wooded walks. Be careful not to be parked beyond the second gate after sunset... I hear that you can get locked in.

🌲 🌲 🌲 -- Wonderful place to go walk, clear your head, and exercise, by yourself, with your family and/ or especially dogs ... They have a great space for dogs (small and big), it's always so nice to go and enjoy a walk in the trails or at the dog park. This dog park connects with a trail that takes you directly to a grocery store located in Downtown Flushing!!! 🌲

We had our church picnic there and the site was perfect. The pavilion was clean, the tables clean, and the grills also clean. The grounds were well kept with plenty of room to set up various games. The drive in and around the park was a nice ride with many walking, running, and riding their bikes. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Bathrooms are just outhouses in a bigger building, and they are pretty gross. Otherwise, it has a great playgroud and huge pavilions with fire places and plenty of seating. Peaceful walking is an option in the wooded areas or on the paved road. Definitely will return.

An absolutely beautiful park that features wide paved walking paths and some rugged paths through wooded areas, an enclosed dog park, a large playground area with separate structures for all ages, a workout station, and lots of lovely mature pine trees. There were several picnic tables tucked into semi-private areas just off the walking paths and multiple pavilions of all sizes. The only thing I didn't love was that the road that winds through the park is also the main walking path, so there were some vehicles driving alongside walkers, albeit slowly and carefully. However, apparently on Mondays the path is closed to all vehicles. I will most certainly be coming to this park more often.
