This place is an underrated gem! I've only been here in the winter/spring transition, but look forward to seeing it's beauty in the spring, summer, and fall! Tons of places to walk and hike. Lots of nature to observe. The visitor center has bathrooms, classrooms, and live and taxidermy animals to observe. Wear hiking shoes or boots if the weather is even remotely wet.

Awesome and completely FREE park. Great place with lots of activities for kids in the welcome center. You can check out backpacks that have activities to do during your nature walk. Beautiful butterfly house with lots of different kinds of butterflies. There is also a vegetable garden as well. The tree house was not open the day that we went but we still walked up the stairs and ramps and checked it out. Lots of different trails to walk and they are all marked and numbered so you can easily follow the map. We had a fantastic time and there was so much more we could have done but didn't have time so we will definitely be back again!

Enjoyed hiking the trails with my family of 7. Never crowded. The most beautiful park. So many great trails. Wonderful nature center and gardens. Turkeys and deer are plentiful!

Went for the first time to enjoy the Harvest Festival & it was so fun! My daughter loved the corn play area & tram ride. Such a beautiful place! So peaceful with lots of fun stuff to do.

I had my daughter's 7th birthday here yesterday. We had SO much fun. Finding a reasonably priced kid birthday party is really hard, but ForMar got it right and made it so easy! The prices didn't break the bank and the kids had a great time. 100% would recommend. We did the turtle theme and all planned activities were right on target for the age group. We did a scavenger hunt, visited the tree house, got to hold some turtles, a cockroach and a snake! The kids also made a cute turtle as a craft. Thanks so much for making her day so special!
