French Creek Reservation is a gorgeous place to get outside. The trails are peaceful and well-kept, winding through woods, ravines, and along the creek—perfect for hiking or a relaxing walk. The Nature Center is a real highlight, with fun exhibits and programs that make it great for both kids and adults. A wonderful spot to enjoy nature take your family and walk your dogs.

Park at the Nature Center where there is plenty of parking from the Nature Center take an asphalt paved trail to the stairs leading you to the main trail. The main trail is nice wide cinder Trail. The first point of interest is a deck where you can look out onto the creek. It's fairly well overgrown and not a real spectacular view. The second point of interest is another deck overlooking the creek. The Nature Center is beautiful. They have live animal exhibits and also taxidermy animals. There is a small kids playroom for I would consider two and under. There's a bird viewing area. Restrooms are very clean.

We went on a beautiful day with great weather, so that helped set the stage. We hit it on a Sunday afternoon, the steady flow of people who were walking on the paths were fairly light and not overcrowded or uncomfortable. The mix of green and the creek is fantastic. You can take the little ones to the waters edge to see the minnows and splash around. we brought our golden retriever and he loved it too. loads of of pets.

This place is wonderful!!! You will be surprised how beautiful nature is and how many activities you can do here. There are activities for children, animal exhibits, history, paths to walk along paths full of trees which each have their names, you can take your pets, there is a beautiful lake where you will see the ducks bathing and listen to the running of the Water. If you like nature and appreciate the wonders around it, this place is perfect for you, you will not regret it.
