What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This was a great trail to take my dogs for a walk on. It was paved with at least 3 dog waste stations. It was interesting that parts of it were right behind a development, but I could still hear the hum of bugs and there were plenty of great natural views. We even saw a deer! The creek at the end is beautiful with multiple benches to sit on. Just an item to note - it's a straight trail vs a loop. You take the trail to the end, then turn around and take it back. We would definitely go again.
Read more about Beaver Creek Trail EndIt's exactly the way it was when I was a kid. What a beautiful place to visit. Memories of sledding down the hill, swimming in a creek and having family barbecues. This is a must experience for anybody who lives in the area or people from out of town.
Read more about Vermilion River Reservation: Mill HollowThere are two different things I want to cover the first and the most popular would have to be the Halloween trick-or-treat season and the Christmas light season (will post pics later) Both are a huge draw and because they are so big you need to go online and make a reservation for a certain day. They only have so much parking. Second— the trails. Aside from asphalt or cement trails nearer to main buildings, these are the best trails made of white ground gravel so easy to transfer with a stroller or a wheelchair. Some areas may be thicker less than others. Almost all of their trails are about 5 feet wide. The trails are well marked and they have a lot of of them. I was only able to hike too, but there are several that range from half a mile to five or 6 miles maybe more. Halloween is self-explanatory with the first few pictures & videos. Will post Christmas at a later time
