The city needs to start ticketing people for how they allow their dogs to poop all over this park. I wanted to go shoot around and poop is all over the basketball court,I had to play hopscotch to even get to the court and back to my truck. When I was pulling up it was a guy allowing his dog to poop in the grass and then he just left. I won't go back until they clean up the area and start holding these nasty folks accountable. People should learn how to take care of things.
A neighborhood staple. Happy to see its revival taking place. So many families have wonderful memories in this park. A great place for a walk, a run, some basketball, or to catch a softball game.
its nice to see they are planting more trees. i would be expecting more trees with a name like that 😂
Beautiful to see, great job that everyone did fixing it up.
The park is overall average alright. It’s served many well purposes. I have given the park three stars regarding the new addition of the pool. It’s great when under capacity and I noticed so many disregarded events that occurred at capacity Memorial Day Holiday. There wasn’t a lot of supervision or guardians making sure their children had life vests. Many rules were over looked and not reinforced by the lifeguards. As a parent in the pool with my children I witnessed so much horse playing . To where children were doing so much that pulling each other down under water and choking. I brought these matters to the lifeguards but didn’t take these matters seriously. I don’t think they were able to handle a pool at capacity there was so much unforeseen. One of the events almost costed my teenager his life. Due to an unsupervised younger child who should have had a life vest on. Pulling on my son and drawing him under water panicking because he was afraid . This could’ve ended badly thank God he was alright. Shaken up but alright. At capacity the guards need to reinforce rules to all parties and guardians to have their children wearing appropriate attire if they can’t swim.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
