Great park! Lots of space for the dogs to run! A few mud spots that were expected based on rainfall. Benches are nice for the owners. Met a few nice people and will visit again when it is sunny!

Best dog park in the city. The walk through the park to the off leash area is beautiful and different every time. The neighborhood people are smiling and pleasant. There are two off leash areas too. One for big dogs and one for the little guys.

Great place to come with your dog. The park has a large and small dog park. It’s very clean and there’s a lot of space for your dog to run around.

A happy place for my dog and me! Frick Park is such a lovely oasis, and the large off-leash areas offer lots of room to roam and some woods for the pups to explore. One bummer is not having a water source in the dog park; another is that is gets awfully muddy especially in the winter and spring, but there's really no way around that for a well-used park that never shuts down. Still I love this place. There are 2 areas but they aren't divided by size, so any dog can go in either. Sometimes you'll find that dogs with behavior issues are taken to the back area, but not always. There are usually some dogs there at most times in the morning and around lunchtime, and then again late afternoon/ evening. My dog loves to wrestle and I'd say half the time she finds a good partner. There are usually dogs who like to chase if that's your game. Most dogs are good and most owners are responsible. Once in a while you get a dog that's overly rough or humpy, and other owners are pretty good about telling that dog's owner to get control of their dogs. I just keep an eye on things and if there's a very aggressive dog, or sometimes there's just a bad vibe where all the dogs get snappy, I go to the other area or leave. That happens rarely. You can get to this on the trails from anywhere in the park, but the most direct route and the simplest for first-timers is to park on Beechwood at the entrance hear English Ln/ Blue Slide Playground, and follow the paved path back.

Gets muddy after a rain but is very nice and the people who bring their dogs here are very responsible and respectful.
