What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Wonderful place to take your dogs! Wonderful people and dogs. Our dogs love to go and have made some friends to play with. Open 24/7 to members! Our dogs are older but they still love it there. My dad takes his dogs too and they love getting out and running when the weathers bad. Well worth the money. Call and set up an appointment to check it out.
Read more about Stay and Play Indoor Dog Park, LLCThis conservatory was soooo nice compared to the one we have in our area (ours is just much smaller) me and my partner drove 4 hours away just to visit! And we were not disappointed, and it's true if you present a Foodstamp card and ID the tickets are only 3 bucks!! Such a steal to be able to see such a beautiful place, we've now started a traditional to see random botonical gardens all over the US I can't wait to see what's in store next as this really set the standard. Such a breath of fresh air🌬️
Read more about Phipps Conservatory and Botanical GardensDisclaimer: Right off the bat, I visited the park as a tourist, a 40 year old man that has loved Mac Miller's work for over 15 years now. That said can I speak on how great a playground it is? How much your kids will enjoy it? How well kept it is? No. It was an early snowy weekend morning in December when I visited with my fiancé and a buddy just to see the famous Blue Slide of Frick Park that Mac made so Infamous amongst his fans. There were discarded cardboard boxed strewn about from people going down the slide and snow in the earliest stages of accumulating on the ground, but I was just happy to see it in person. It honestly looked like a much nicer playground than any in any of the areas of Philly I grew up in, and the area looked very nice from an outsider. Yes, yes I got on someone's old cardboard and went down the slide in the snow at 40 years old, with my fiancé filming and proclaiming I was gonna bust my ass (I didn't). I had to do it. Zero regrets. I'm sure the tourist traffic here is way heavier since Mac's untimely passing, but I hope the locals still get to enjoy their park all the same without too many of us bugging them.
Read more about Frick ParkGreat place to take in the sites of the two rivers forming the Ohio River. Great views of bridges and architecture of Pittsburgh's history. The are no guardrails and nothing to protect you from accidental items blowing into the rivers. Please secure your gear and personals. Great place to run, bike and have lunch. Security was always present. You also enjoy and mini botanical garden tour or hear the games at the stadium.
