Very nicely wooded! I came through for a trail run and was amazed by the intricacy of the routes within this entire park. Great for a scenic walk or a long run. There's a nice viewpoint on a large hill near the observatory and university campus!

Beautiful park with picturesque trails, with views to the city skyline. There are many historical bridges in the park, plus a running track, flat 1km walking/running path, playground, disc golf, and more!

Great displays. Very festive and warm and inviting g. My Son and his future family invited me to share in this beautiful experience.

Great hiking spot in the middle of the city! Schenley Park has beautiful trails, peaceful nature, and nice views. Easy to access from Pitt, and perfect for a walk, jog, or just relaxing outdoors. Highly recommend if you’re in Pittsburgh!

Amazing park, everything is within walkable distance even though it looks like it's a huge park but once you're there, you would love to explore. Didn't find much elevation either. Definitely a must visit. Parking - park your car either across on Schenley Drive opposite Phipps Botanical garden (better location) OR across Anderson Playground. Some of the trails are not that great, so bring your most comfy shoes if going to trails. There are lots of benches to sit on near the fountain as well as near Phipps. There is an American restaurant called "The Porch" as well as an Ice cream/milkshake place and Omar's halal grill near the Catherdral of Learning.
